How to use Favicon Generator
- Drop a square image (at least 512 × 512 px works best).
- For a text or emoji icon, padding, colors and the app name, switch to Advanced.
- Check the previews and click Download all files (ZIP).
- Upload the files to your website and paste the HTML inside <head>.
Supported formats
In: one image (PNG, SVG, JPG and others) or a few letters or an emoji. Out: a ZIP with favicon.ico (16, 32, 48), PNG 16 and 32, apple-touch-icon 180, Android 192 and 512, site.webmanifest and the HTML code.
Limits
Detailed images lose detail at 16 × 16 px, so a simple shape or 1–2 letters reads best. The Apple icon always gets a solid background because iOS does not show transparency.
Privacy
Everything runs in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server, and there is no sign-up.
