How to use Image Converter
- Drop your images onto the page or click to select them.
- Under Convert to, pick the target format and adjust its options, such as quality, background color or icon sizes.
- Click the Convert button, then download each file or all of them as a ZIP.
Supported formats
Reads JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG, ICO, TIFF, HEIC/HEIF, JPEG XL and PDF (first page). Writes JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, JPEG XL, SVG, PDF and ICO; several files download as one ZIP.
Limits
HEIC can be opened but not saved, and animated GIFs keep only their first frame. AVIF and JPEG XL need a one-time encoder download of a few MB, and large images can take several seconds.
Privacy
Everything runs in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server, and there is no sign-up.
Frequently asked questions
Can I convert HEIC (iPhone photos) to JPG?
Yes. Drop the HEIC files and choose JPG, or any other output format. HEIC is supported as input only.
Does converting keep transparency?
PNG, WEBP, AVIF, JPEG XL, TIFF, BMP and ICO keep it, and GIF keeps fully transparent pixels only. JPG has no transparency, so those areas are filled with the background color you choose (white by default).
How do I make a favicon.ico?
Choose ICO, tick the sizes you need (16, 32 and 48 px are enough for a website) and pick Fit or Fill for non-square images. All selected sizes go into one .ico file.
Does converting change the image size?
No, the pixel size stays the same (ICO is the exception). To change it, use the Image Resizer.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion runs in your browser, so your images stay on your device.
