How to use Images to PDF

  1. Drop your images on the page, several at once.
  2. Put the pages in order: drag them, use the arrows, or click “Sort by name”.
  3. In “PDF settings”, choose the page size (A4, Letter or Fit image), orientation, margin and file name.
  4. Click “Create PDF”. The file downloads right away.

Supported formats

Input: JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG, TIFF, HEIC and JXL images (a PDF file adds its first page as an image). Output: one PDF with one image per page, named images.pdf unless you change the file name.

Limits

JPG and PNG are placed in the PDF unchanged, so the PDF is about as large as the images combined; other formats and rotated phone photos are redrawn as JPEG at 92% quality. Very many or very large images depend on your device’s memory.

Privacy

Everything runs in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server, and there is no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

Does converting images to PDF reduce quality?

Not for JPG and PNG: they are embedded as they are, without compressing them again. Other formats are converted to high-quality JPEG (92%).

Can I change the page order?

Yes. Drag the page cards, use the left and right arrows (handy on phones), or click “Sort by name”, which puts img2 before img10.

Will photos from my phone appear sideways?

No. JPEG photos that are stored rotated are turned upright before they are added, and iPhone HEIC photos are supported.

How do the page size and margins work?

With A4 or Letter, each image is scaled to fit inside the margin (none, 10 mm or 20 mm) and centered; “Auto” orientation uses landscape pages for wide images. “Fit image” makes each page the size of its image.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The PDF is created in your browser, so your images never leave your device.
